Why is Joomla 1.7 not in cPanel Fantastico

I notice that in fantastico i dont have Joomla 1.7? Why? Is it not good or something?

what i did was install joomla 1.5 and then upgrade it to 1.7 afterwards. or you can just manually install 1.7 from scratch.

Thanks. But why do I have to do all of this? Why cant it just be in Fantastico quick install?

fantastico just needs to update their CMS files.

Fantastico is actually run by a 3rd party service provider and the tool in your admin panel doesnt pull installation files from the Joomla site

cPanel doesnt make Fantastico. But Fantastico should be updated regularly.
