I notice that in fantastico i dont have Joomla 1.7? Why? Is it not good or something?

what i did was install joomla 1.5 and then upgrade it to 1.7 afterwards. or you can just manually install 1.7 from scratch.

fantastico just needs to update their CMS files.
Fantastico is actually run by a 3rd party service provider and the tool in your admin panel doesnt pull installation files from the Joomla site

cPanel doesnt make Fantastico. But Fantastico should be updated regularly.
