webpage changes

if i just changed my index.html or any part of my website and uploaded to FTP how long does it take for it to appear?

it should be instantaneous. if theres a major delay or the changes didnt occur you will need to check that you uploaded your files to the right place. if not then submit a email to Doteasy to have it checked out...

xelloss:
they are having different upload path on different servers.
either /var/www/html or / or /public_html.

Make sure you know the correct path. I'm having their Unlimited Hosting plan on the new CPanel server (good to have cpanel), my upload path us /public_html. If you are not sure...check with them.

Xeis:
sometimes your browser may still be showing the old webpage. so you need to clear your browser cache so your browser can show the most updated version of your website files.
