Subdomain problem with IE 10

I've set up a subdomain, and inserted a file named index.html.  The subdomain opens fine in the Chrome browser by typing http:\\(subdomain).(domain).com but when I try the same thing with Internet Explorer 10 i get a redirect to Doteasy's home page.  Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?  I've tried clearing my cache in IE for my domain but that didn't help.

Okay, I see in the FAQs that it may take up to a week for other people to be able to see a new subdomain, so maybe that is the problem.
