linking a contact us to a file on your computer

CHADOTE:
I am a begginner in creating website. How can i link a image map say "about us" to a folder on my computer? What are steps to follow if anyone can help. i have about us navigation on my website, but it is not opening up when i click on it. Anybody who can help please
