Best reporting tool to use with PHP/MySQL

I'm building a web site using PHP and MySQL.  What is the best reporting tool to use?  I want to be able to build reports my users can run to generate a list of certificates issued for a day, or all certificates issued to a person, or whatever.

I've experimented with Jasper, and it works great, but I can't figure out if I can use Jasper with DotEasy.

Any suggestions?
