Title: Google Apps
Post by: Ghados on May 12, 2011, 09:03:04 PM
Can I use Google Apps with my domain at Doteasy?

If so, where do I go to add a CNAME record so Google can verify I own the domain?  Is there an easier way to verify ownership other than creating a CNAME record?

Yes, Google Apps can be used with your domain at Doteasy.

To create a CNAME record to verify your domain ownership, click the "DNS Panel (For Advanced user)" link under the domain section of your member zone.  From there, you can proceed to create the CNAME record.

If your account is subscribed to the Spam & Email Antivirus protection service, please contact our support team by submitted a case ticket to create the CNAME record.  Accounts subscribed to our Spam & Email Antivirus will not have the DNS panel available from the member zone as Doteasy is managing the zone file settings manually.

Google does provide other methods of ownership verification other than creating a CNAME record.  You can visit the link below for other options available: (
