Title: meta statement viewport
Post by: BartV on April 30, 2015, 03:40:28 AM
At the prodding of Google and Doteasy I added this line to a test page's source on one of one website on Doteasy:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">

When I uploaded the file and looked at it with several browsers it displayed only a blank screen. A closer look with FTP at my uploaded files told me the file was listed all right but it had zero bytes.

I tried the same thing with a few more functional files currently on my Doteasy hosted website but as soon as I added this viewport statement the file existed in name only, zero bytes in size.

What gives?

Looking forward to your wisdom,

Bart.
