Title: adding directory/database type listing to website
Post by: misadreamer on February 03, 2014, 04:55:05 PM
I am developing a site which will feature information about service providers around the country.  I assume I will need a database type system but I am sure which is the best to use and where to go once the database is created.  It will need to be a fully searchable contact list broken down by City and State and Type of Service.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should use mysql database, its great and i think its enough for your project.
Its compatible with php and php have many commands that support mysql use. I guess this forum is not lively

I edited this post because and add that you should do a pdo database because of safety.
I could help you just send me the message.
