I have recently signed up a .com domain name and see that my information is showing up on WHOIS. Is there a way to hide my information?

If you would like to hide your contact information in WHOIS, you may wish to enable the Private Domain Registration in Member Zone. By enabling this feature, we will list our contact information in place of yours, protecting you from prying eyes. Note that your name will still be shown on WHOIS, but all your contact info will be hidden. For more information regarding this service, please visit the following link:

To purchase this feature, please contact us via the following link:

If you already have this feature, please see the following instructions to enable the Private Domain Registration.
1). Login to your Member Zone at https://member.doteasy.com/
2). Under "Domain", click "Change Contact Info/Private Registration"
3). Under PRIVATE REGISTRATION STATUS: "Public", click "TURN ON"

You can go by using service like private information service which you can get from your domain provider.

I have a question on this issue:
Is there any way to hide my name from WHOIS lookups?
I have the private registration on my domain, but didn't realize that my name would be shown.
- If I change my admin contact, will my name still be shown on WHOIS?

By using the private registration you can hide your details. This registration hides your personal information.
After doing this registration, you will check your whois (http://www.whoisxy.com/) info.
