iPhone is pretty much the same to setup as pop, it just has a little quirk at the end.  Here's the settings I used when I setup mine:

If you don't have an account setup on iPhone yet

1) Tap Mail on the Home screen of your iOS device.
2) Tap Other
3) Add Mail Account.

If you are adding another account to the iPhone

1) Tap Mail
2) Tap Settings
3) Tap Mail, Contacts
4) Tap Add Account

Email POP Settings:

Name: Your name
Address: Your email address
Description: Your description

Incoming Mail Server
Host Name: mail.*domain*
User Name: *user*@*domain*
Password: Your password
Use SSL: OFF
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 110

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
Host Name: mail.*domain*
User Name: *user*@*domain*
Password: Your password
Use SSL: OFF
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 587

After the first try, an error message will say
Cannot Connect Using SSL Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?
Click "Yes" and it should work.
(it tries to connect with SSL even when you tell it not to the first time, just click to do without like it says and it will work from then on in properly)

i believe smtp authentication = password authentication , so you seem to have it set correctly already

are you using the right outgoing port? if you are on cpanel horde, then 587 wont work for you
