Title: iPhone Email Problem
Post by: Ghados on May 18, 2010, 04:15:16 PM
Hi.

I recently set up my email in outlook express. Now that it's set up, I cannot send emails from my iphone (where my account was previously set up).

when I try to send a message it says: Cannot send mail- the sender address was invalid.

What do I need to go to be able to send messages again?

Your Doteasy domain email is accessible from most mobile devices using the POP3 email application.

If your mobile device (ie. PDA, Blackberry, mobile phone, iPhone, etc.) supports POP email, here are the settings to use:

Account type: POP Incoming
(POP3) server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing (SMTP) server: mail.yourdomain.com
SMTP port number: 587
Outgoing server authentication: Authentication is required
Username: userID@yourdomain.com
Password: password
If your software does not allow setting the outgoing port to 587, you can try entering 'mail.yourdomain.com:587' or you may need to use the outgoing mail server provided by your phone provider.
