Expired domain transfer?

If my domain name registration with DotEasy expires, can I still have the domain unlocked to transfer to another provider?

Yes, there is a special fee for an expired domain to transfer away. Therefore, if you are looking for a new domain registrar, it is strongly suggested to do it 10 days before your domain expiry date.
